Adjutant General
The Adjutant General (abbrev. AG alternately hyphenated as Adjutant-General) is a staff member within the High Command of the Royal Manticoran Army (RMA), acting as the RMA liason to the Bureau of Personnel. Personnel officers and specialists within RMA report to the Adjutant General and are considered members of the Adjutant General Corps.
Duties of the Adjutant General include:
- Primarily responsible for liaison duties with the Bureau of Personnel.
- Manages personnel policies, procedures, and assists with awards[1]
Formerly, from 2022 to 2025, the Adjutant General was responsible for the formation of RMA chapters and appointing their command triads, similar to the function of BuShips within the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Army Directive 2201-01 established the AG as part of the RMA High Command.
Army Directive 2201-03 established the Office of the Adjutant General.

Adjutant General Orders
From 2022 to 2025, the AG issued operations orders under the authority of the Marshal of the Army commissioning and decommissioning RMA units, and appointing command triad members to the units. As of 2025, the Third Space Lord issues chapter orders for all branches, including the RMA. Royal Manticoran Army policy orders are issued as Army Directives.
