For selflessly rendering aid in a non-life threatening medical emergency, these personnel are awarded the Manticorian Survivors Cross:

RMN 2539-14 David Patrick O'Shea

A TRMN member and patient reported to convention operations for a scratch on her arm. Chief Petty Officer David O’Shea provided first aid, and bandaged the wound on site allowing them to continue to attend the convention without any further interruption.

As he directly provided the first aid, CPO O’Shea has earned the Survivor’s Cross for providing first aid for a non-life threatening injury.

RMN 1798-14 Erik Roberts

A TRMN member and patient had a medical episode during the TRMN panel hosted at BayCon 2024. CAPTSG Theide noticed some symptoms and asked that CDRE Roberts call for on-site medical services including an EMT. CDRE Roberts then complied, and called for services, which responded. Patient was then moved to convention operations where they were monitored for further treatment by on-site EMT team. None was required.

Given this, I am recommending CDRE Roberts for the Survivor’s Cross, for calling EMT services to the panel room.

RMN 2359-14 Sonja Thiede

A TRMN member and patient had a medical episode during the TRMN panel hosted at BayCon 2024. CAPTSG Theide noticed some symptoms and asked that someone call for the EMT team. The convention EMT service responded and helped move the patient to convention operations in order to recover.

Congratulations and Well Done to all recipients. You truly show the best of TRMN.
