Active BuShips Directive 2601-01 was issued on 1 January 2026 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints command staff to HMS Atropos (BC-363).

Re: Appointment of Command Staff, HMS Atropos (BC-363) (BSH-2601-01)


CC: Capt. (SG) Brian Robert Burnham, RMN, Commanding Officer, HMS Atropos (BC-363)

Lt. Cmdr Cunningham:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Atropos (BC-363), there to take

upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Bosun, relieving Master Chief Petty Officer Lisa

Higashiuetoko, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby voluntarily

reduced to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer, RMN.

The above directive is effective on this date, 1 January 2026.

The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Master Chief Petty Officer

Lisa Higashiuetoko, RMN for their service as Bosun of HMS Atropos and wish them all success in

their future endeavors.
