Queen’s Bravery Medal

Christopher Magnani

The Queen’s Bravery Medal is awarded to Christopher Magnani. Chris volunteered 5 hours to do the job of tearing down the wardroom at Orycon. This is often a thankless job, but so needed so it doesn't fall onto just one person. His help was greatly appreciated!

Conspicuous Bravery Medal

David Carlson

The Conspicuous Bravery Medal is awarded to David Carlson. Master Sergeant Carlson's help at Orycon 2025 was invaluable. He was our main gopher and was continuously running back and forth between the wardroom and the fan table. He would happily run and get a forgotten item or get someone a plate of food. He would then spend time manning the fan table if the crew assigned needed a break. David spent approximately 14 hours throughout the convention volunteering

Lydia Carlson

The Conspicuous Bravery Medal is awarded to Lydia Carlson. Lydia spent over 14 hours volunteering at Orycon. She helped set up when she was able and manned the wardroom for multiple hours a day. Lydia also spent significant time manning the fan table. Lydia also made sure that the wardroom was closed down in a manner that food items were kept safe for future use.

Dan Dubrick

The Conspicuous Bravery Medal is awarded to Dan Dubrick. Dan Spent 40 hours volunteering for the convention and an additional 4 hours volunteering for the TRMN at the fan table. He also interacted with other TRMN members in the wardroom daily during the convention.

Mir Plemmons

The Conspicuous Bravery Medal is awarded to Mir Plemmons. Rear Admiral Plemmons volunteered to head security for the convention. He did a marvelous job in this role. He spent 20 hours while at the convention organizing and running security. He was also on-call the remainder of the time. Rear Admiral Plemmons spent time daily interacting with various crew throughout the day as he would drop in and out of the wardroom.

Conspicuous Service Medal

Patricia L Foss

The Conspicuous Service Medal is awarded to Trish Foss. Trish spent 12 hours helping man both the wardroom and the fan table at Orycon 2025. While she didn't sign up for specific shifts, she was always available to fill in for both those jobs when needed. She also swung by a store and picked up a couple of items that were forgotten for the wardroom on her way into town.

Margaret Fowler

The Conspicuous Service Medal is awarded to Margaret Fowler. Margaret spent 12-hours volunteering at Orycon 2025. She spent most of that time volunteering at the fan table and was always willing to step in if we had an hour that was not covered by another crew.
