NorWesCon (officially styled Norwescon) is the Pacific Northwest's largest fan-run science fiction and fantasy convention, held annually over Easter weekend in SeaTac, Washington. It has run continuously since 1978 and, since 1994, has been held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport (the former Red Lion Inn).[1][2]
Within the Tenth Fleet, NorWesCon is one of the northern venues for the rotating Tenth Fleet Summit. It hosted the fleet summit in 2016 and 2018, both organized by Battlecruiser Squadron 96 under the command of Commodore Sir James Sena. The Agamemnon-class battlecruiser HMS Black Rose — Sena's flagship — was itself commissioned at NorWesCon in April 2014.[3]
