'CarrierCon is an annual convention of cosplay, tabletop and video gaming, anime, and Western and Japanese media held aboard the USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum in Alameda, California. Created and run by the museum as the successor to the earlier KrakenCon at the same venue, it draws roughly 2,000 attendees and doubles as an outreach event promoting the Hornets history.
The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. maintains a presence at CarrierCon; HMS Medusa is among the Tenth Fleet chapters that represent the organization at the event.
