HMS Apollo (CL-80) was the lead ship of the Apollo-class light cruisers of the Royal Manticoran Navy, a Second Fleet chapter based in Lafayette, Indiana. Commissioned in 2015 under CDR Teresa Remaly, she served as part of Task Force 22.
History
Apollo was commissioned on 29 July 2015 under the command of CDR Teresa Remaly, the lead ship of the Apollo-class of light cruisers, based in Lafayette, Indiana.[1] LCDR Terry Remaly was appointed executive officer in July 2016.[2] On the establishment of Task Force 22 in December 2016, Apollo was assigned to the new formation.[3]
Apollo was subsequently decommissioned; the corresponding Bureau of Ships directive was not published to the forum.[citation needed]
