GNS Hermes (CL-73) was a Disciple-class Light Cruiser of the Grayson Space Navy, based in Houston, Texas. Commissioned in 2012 with High Admiral Nicholas Macon Hurst embarked, she was recommissioned in 2015 before her final crew upgraded to the superdreadnought GNS Seneca Gilmore in 2017.

History

Hermes was commissioned on 23 March 2012 under the command of CDR Keith Manley, based in Houston, Texas, with High Admiral Nicholas Macon Hurst embarked as flag officer.[1] On 28 October 2012 the crew upgraded to the superdreadnought GNS Barbara Bancroft, and Hermes was placed in reserve.[2]

She was recommissioned on 2 September 2015 under CDR Nicholas Macon Hurst and assigned to Sixth Fleet.[3] Command passed to CDR Lady Kirylyn Dreamer, Steadholder Blackbird, on 30 October 2016.[4] On 9 April 2017, Dreamer's crew upgraded to the superdreadnought GNS Seneca Gilmore, and Hermes was returned to the reserve.[5]
