HMS Revenge (SD-317) was a Medusa-class pod-laying Superdreadnought of the Royal Manticoran Navy, chartered in Sacramento, California. Commissioned in the Tenth Fleet in 2016, she served as flagship of Battle Squadron 2 and formed Battle Division 202 before her decommissioning on 24 April 2020.
History
Revenge was commissioned on 27 August 2016 under CDRE Sir Joseph Harney; her crew had commissioned HMS Chainshot that May before upgrading to the new vessel.[1] She was assigned to Task Group 91.1, and that September formed Battle Division 202 with HMS Thunderer as part of Battle Squadron 2.
Harney stepped down in September 2016 and was relieved by CAPTJG Theresa Hindle.[2] Command passed to CAPTJG Travis Lindquist in August 2018,[3] and returned to Hindle that December.[4] Revenge was decommissioned on 24 April 2020, her crew transferred to HMSS Greenwich.[5]
