HMS Imperatrix (SD-457) was an Invictus-class Superdreadnought of the Royal Manticoran Navy, chartered in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Commissioned in the Second Fleet in 2013, she was decommissioned on 31 July 2020 following the resignation of her commanding officer.

History

Imperatrix was commissioned on 4 May 2013 in the Second Fleet, an upgrade from HMS Samurai, under CAPTSG Sir Wayne Bruns.[1] Commodore Bruns stood down in February 2017 and was relieved by CAPTJG Michael Anderson;[2] CDR Jacia Bruns subsequently served as acting commanding officer until CAPTJG Katherine Tremaine assumed command in October 2017.[3]

On the deactivation of Battle Squadron 1, Imperatrix was transferred to Task Group 21.1.[4] Following Tremaine's resignation, with no crew member able to take command, Imperatrix was decommissioned on 31 July 2020, her crew transferred to HMSS Greenwich.[5]
